NewWords (newwords.dev) is an emerging-search product. This policy covers the public encyclopedia, the signed-in radar, accounts, and billing.

Information we collectCopy Anchor Link

• Account data: email address, name, and optional avatar when you register or sign in with Google.
• Session data: authentication cookies from Better Auth so we can keep you signed in.
• Payment data: plan, invoice, and subscription status. Card details are handled by Creem (or another payment provider we enable). We do not store full card numbers.
• Product usage: published words you view, radar tables you load, and admin review actions if you are an operator.
• Messages: anything you send through the contact form.

How we use itCopy Anchor Link

• Provide the encyclopedia, radar, and billing
• Send verification, password reset, and transactional email through Resend
• Process subscriptions and notify you about payment status
• Keep the service secure and debug failures

We do not sell personal data. We do not use TrustMRR or similar research feeds to build public profiles of you.

We use:

• Cloudflare for hosting, D1, KV, R2, and the Worker
• Creem (default) for checkout and subscription records
• Resend for email
• Google if you choose Google sign-in

Each processor only receives what that function needs.

RetentionCopy Anchor Link

Account and payment records stay while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account from settings when that control is enabled, or by contacting us.
